Beautiful Sunday in San Francisco

Tried to wake up early to go for a morning run, but although I went to bed at a reasonable hour last night (11pm) when my alarm went off at 7am I couldn’t resist the SNOOZE button, and finally woke up at 9:45am and decided that I should just get ready for brunch instead 😛

Met up with my friends Danny and Gregg to a restaurant near Mission (a bad neighborhood, so I was told) called AQ. The food was excellent and although I had two cups of coffee I was sleepy from the food-coma, so we decided to walk to an area nearby called the Mint Plaza. I got a cup of latte at what is supposed to be “the best coffee in San Francisco” – not sure if I will agree that it’s really all that great…

While sitting around the nice Mint Plaza neighborhood’s pretty plastic orange chairs (how come no one steals them?) we talked about how a 650 sq ft apartment there costs $2600/month. Geez – they must pay well in the Bay Area – even back in LA at the comparable Old Bank district (which is also close to skid row, like Mint’s proximity to the run-down Mission area) my 1100 sq. ft loft was less than half that!

With the black and white shot yesterday I decided that I should have a vibrant color one this one. Nice blue sky for contrast 🙂

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!
