Germany May 2000

Flying out of Minneapolis in the afternoon, I am equipped with a borrowed (Thanks Bridget’s mom Anita!!!) Fuji MX-600 Digital Camera. Looking out the airplane window I suddenly noticed a familiar sight…immediately I snapped away like a Japanese tourist. Here are the pictures:

How many times have you flown, looked out the window of the plane, and wondered what your house looked like from the sky? Well I had my chance!

While flying towards Frankfurt… wondering if it is a coal power plant or a nuclear power plant (in trouble, hehe)

Arrived at Frankfurt Main approximately 8:20am. My good friend Helmut Franken  picked me up and we drove to CGS in Hainburg (Pictures to come SOON!) After work Helmut and his wife Rita helped me check in to the Bed & Breakfast minutes from their home in Moerlenbach, approximately 1 hour out of Frankfurt:

B&B by night…
and day. The CGS company car…

After checking-in the Frankens (Helmut, Rita, and daughters Nadja and Lena) invited me to a traditional German dinner, complete with all kinds of sausages, bread, and cheese (the food was so good I forgot to take pictures…)
