New York City, NY

This New York trip was sure interesting. I accompanied Bernd from CGS Germany for training at one of our important customers. I also got to meet Claudia, Bernd’s wife… but more importantly, I got to meet my snowboard heroine, Victoria Jealouse. One of the more enjoyable in-flight conversations I’ve had in a long time…

In NYC there are sculptures of cows all over. Seems strange since nobody could tell me what they are really there for, or what they symbolize… At least if it was Chicago it could represent the fire that burned the whole city down.. But New York and cows…? Strange…

On my flight back to Minneapolis, I glanced back and saw this girl… Hmmm she sure looks familiar. I couldn’t figure it out until I saw all her luggage – all by Burton, the leading snowboard manufacturer… It’s… it’s… it’s… Victoria Jealouse! Contrary of the usual “real-life” personalities of celebrities, Victoria is a really cool and friendly person. By the way Victoria send me e-mail so I can send you that “magic potion” for hangovers (promise NOT to be snake oil!)
