Several changes in my life lately… I have decided to be in “consolidation mode”, including sorting out a few of my bank accounts that are just eating up service charges for non-activity, as well as eliminating my 612 mobile phone number. When I called in today to tell them I wanted to cancel, they reminded me that I was a 14-year-customer with this this cellular service provider (sob). Why the financial consolidation? Trying to make some big decisions in my life, and realized that I needed to “clean house” on all the wasteful items in my life in order for things to happen the way I wanted them to…
Now the next number, a more interesting item. 768 is what I found my FICO credit score to be this afternoon. Exactly a year ago when I was looking to see if I can afford to buy a home in L.A. (at that time I was hoping for a 1200 sq. ft. home for around $250k – how naive), and found out my score to be a pitiful 610… I guess the past year of paying all my bills on time has paid off 🙂
Now if I can only find a 1200 sq. ft. home in L.A. for under $400k 😉
