Spent the weekend in Seattle and on the way out we got stranded (alongside thousands of other passengers) by a sudden snowstorm.
This is when the nightmare began… it started snowing when we returned our rental car, and didn’t stop for hours.
We sat on the plane this whole time and then they said the airport is shut down and we all had to deplane… no rollaway beds – we just slept by our bags along a wall where we found a small area to camp-out. Airport floors are HARD.
The next Alaska airlines flight out was in DAYS, so I just went online and booked ourselves two tickets the next morning back home via Southwest Airlines!
