Lumberjack Days 5K. Stillwater, Wisconsin

The last official race that I ran was in 1990, when the HKIS track team took the Colony Championships… I have been running since then, but never in an official race – until the Lumberjack days 5k race in July 2003.

Race day, Stillwater, MN – at the border between Wisconsin and Minnesota. I took these pictures after my own race finished and I was waiting for Bernd (my colleague from Germany), who ran the 10K race…
First place finish for the 10K race, 55:15! Makes my 5K time seem totally lame.
