Visited Los Angeles one more time before my good friend Joseph Chen leaves the country for Taiwan in early December…

While driving on Wilshire Boulevard to go to my second customer to visit, I drove the wrong way and next thing I see… the ocean! It’s been a long time since I last saw real waves…

That evening… met Joe at the Los Angeles Public Library… here he is in deep thought about where to go for dinner…
Actually, all jokes aside, Joe is thinking about what to do with life in general…

On the way to dinner with Joe the second evening, while we were pumping gas, a huge truck pulls up, and guess – it was the deportation bus! Immediately I pulled the camera from the truck and shot away…

By the way… since Joe was headed back to Taiwan, we talked and decided for me to buy his 2001 Miata… now the question is how I am going to haul it home… maybe on my next business trip it will be a cross-country drive back to Minneapolis…? Let’s wait and see.
