Towards the end of January I had the chance to visit Japan with my brother Philip. It was a holiday simply to get away from all the worries in the past few months, as well as a chance to see each other after two years apart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The passing of our mother made me want to weave a better web amongst us brothers, Philip, Kevin, and I, simply because the original bond, my mother, isn\u2019t here anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am sure mom would want us to stick together, through good and bad times as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this trip, Philip and I travelled through Kyoto, Osaka, Shusenji (in Izu), and Tokyo. These are the pictures that describe our fun times during this two-week trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Broke away the Page 2001 show around noon, and met up with Philip and Jamie at a\u00a0Kaiten-Sushi<\/em>\u00a0place in Harajuku… It’s fun (and very tempting) to have freshly made sushi plates flying across your eyes every few seconds… sure makes you hungry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next to the subway station I found a store selling\u00a0AFRO-KEN<\/em>, translated to Afro-puppies… it’s supposedly quite popular in Japan at the time<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Finally back to the hotel… on TV is none other than<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"\"
the Power Puff Girls!!! In Japanese, of course<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

It was pretty cold. Philip suddenly noticed…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

that it was SNOWING!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Trying to capture the snow falling from the sky… it was actually snowing pretty hard…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Philip was ecstatic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

We had dinner at an excellent Japanese resturant<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The name of that restaurant, if anyone is interested, is Shinjuku Iso-zen<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

\"\"

Now you can see how hard it was snowing… nothing compared to US-snow storms, but in any case it was an interesting sight to see.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
