The logic behind this is understandable &#8211; you don&#8217;t want to have a cigarette inside the garbage can filled with tissue papers,&nbsp;<strong><em>especially on an airplane<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What I don&#8217;t understand is the fact that smoking has been banned on all flights since the 1990s, and the Airbus 330 was built in the past year or two&#8230; so why even bother making a sign that has no purpose at all?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Is there a group of people that is hoping smoking will someday make its way back onto airplanes?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m going to put up a sign outside my 4th floor window that says &#8220;You should not jump off this building&#8221;.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>and while using the airplane lavatory I noticed the garbage can cover has the logo &#8220;No Cigarette Disposal&#8221; on it.
