{"id":2982,"date":"2000-11-23T00:58:00","date_gmt":"2000-11-23T00:58:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/sch1auh0s7.site.nfoservers.com\/wp_lew1slau\/?p=2982"},"modified":"2022-04-25T01:06:01","modified_gmt":"2022-04-25T01:06:01","slug":"thanksgiving-in-bruce-wisconsin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lewislau.com\/index.php\/2000\/11\/23\/thanksgiving-in-bruce-wisconsin\/","title":{"rendered":"Thanksgiving in Bruce, Wisconsin"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I got to spend Thanksgiving weekend with Bridget and her family in Bruce, Wisconsin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I kept forgetting exactly what I did for Thanksgiving last year&#8230; then I remembered &#8211; last Thanksgiving I spent in Minneapolis with mom, and we had a big turkey from Daytons&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That would mean this Thanksgiving is my first with the Dearhamers. As usual, I was told, it takes place at Rickey&#8217;s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Attendees include the Dearhamers: Doug (Sr. and Jr.), Andy, Tracy, Grandma Billie, Grandma Nita, and Bridget. The Hultman&#8217;s were also there: Rickey, Chris, Tina, Josh, Vickie. But of course who could forget the newlywed Bitneys: Joel and Mya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Me being the newcomer I was also introduced to Grandpa Ralph&#8217;s friend Kenny and his son Trevor, who are in Bruce for the yearly tradition of deer-hunting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But of course I didn&#8217;t forget the children: Jerry, Justin, Savannah, Brittney, Faith, Marissa!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All in all a great weekend of feeling like a part of a family.
