Bad air quality = running indoors

With the mountain fire just a few miles away I decided to run indoors on a treadmill this afternoon – first time in a long while… After a 6.3 mile run, here’s my reward: The aptly-named Sufferfest Taper IPA.  Now the real question is what I should eat for dinner tonight 😉

Taking the train to work this morning…

I’ve posted before on how I enjoy taking the train… Since moving to the US years ago I’ve missed the ability to plan ahead on exactly when I leave/arrive.  Today I’ve had the chance to go to the exhibition by train/subway. A great way to get ready for work-mode by the ‘hustle and bustle’ atmosphere…

Niederegger marzipan nut torte. Soooooo good.  Unfortunately this cake is only available at their Lübeck flagship cafe. Thanks Doris and Thomas for sharing it with me!
